Weird meals

Hihi..

Seems like a few friends of mine are a little concerned with my weird feeding patterns...haha

Nowadays, I also eat kababs with wine...whatever fills...haha

Here is an interesting wine blog:

Vivi's Wine Journal

*Tink*

Cheers!

Here is an excerpt:

"I believe that wine is a beverage that should be enjoyed frequently, alone or with meals. I believe that wine, since it is made from a fruit, should produce a liquid reminiscent of that fruit, not cedar, moss, pipe tobacco, barnyards, manure, pencil lead, or band aids. As such, I believe that good wine can come from any country, but it must be labeled in such a way that the consumer doesn't need an atlas and a wine encyclopedia to figure out what's in the bottle. I believe that the United States should not trail the civilized world in wine consumption per capita and that neo-prohibitionists, wine snobs, and liquor distributors are all joined in a trilateral commission to hinder wine consumption. I believe that wine needs to lose its elitist image by embracing alternative packaging, alternative closures, non-vintage wines, stronger branding, and lower retail prices. I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last........uh....sorry, I got carried away."

Call for pharmacist bloggers!

Hihi..

Just wanna share with you guys on an interesting international pharmacy project.

Ever wondered what it is like to be a Young pharmacist in Portugal, Peru or Pakistan? The FIP Young Pharmacists’ Group has teamed up with one of the British community pharmacy organisations to help you find out through a new online initiative: WEBlogs

The concept of online diaries known as WEBLogs or blogs, started off in the U.S. with a growing number of physicians using them to share best practice. In Great Britain, the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee (PSNC) launched a community pharmacy WEBlogs site in December 2003 with 12 community pharmacists from across the country sharing their daily experiences of everything from pharmacist prescribing and repeat dispensing to the use of dispensing robots in community pharmacy.

Building on this concept, YPG launched a Global Young Pharmacist WEBlogs site at an international press briefing during the 2004 FIP World Pharmacy Congress. 12 young pharmacists from around the world kept online diaries on the FIP website for 6 months on what is it like to be a young pharmacist.

The project ran until early March 2005 and finished with an online vote to find the Young Pharmacists’ Group’s ‘Favourite WEBloggers.’ The joint winners were Ayad Ali from Iraq and Eurek Ranjit from Nepal.

The site can still be viewed online at: http://www.fip.org/ypgweblogs

The search is now on to find 12 young pharmacists to participate in the 2005/6 YPG WEBlogs Project which will be launched in September and last for 4 months. The deadline for applications to be returned to YPG is 31st August 2005. We received a high number of applicants last year so please include as much infomation about yourself as possible. For more information please email ypg@fip.org or let me know if you are keen.

Amsterdam Pride 2005

hihi..

For the 10th time, the gay canal parade was held in Amsterdam! And, today is that day. I woke up at 1pm....showered and left the house for Amsterdam - in search of GAYS! haha...the event was from 2pm to 6pm.

Apparently, the Gay Pride parade was the largest in the Netherlands for 10 years, and I was along Prinsengracht to catch this You-Can't-Miss-These-Gays canal parade. I think there were supposed to be more than 80 boats on parade.

Here are some street shots:

The place was already swarming with people and gays!! Nice

Let's follow these people

You would had never seen to many gays before...hehe

Gay rules!

Let's check out the canals now!!

Hmm...were you expecting this? More to come!

Small guy

Straight Ahead - Pink ain't Bad. :)

Pink party guys

It's a pity I didn't had my videocam with me here - these guys were doing a very interesting mass swim dance gig! Anyway, this is a nice photo too. hehe

NOW - this got my vote for best gay parade - mainly because of the leading guy. Check out the closeups man!

Nice outfit

Nice bums

More gays!

All the way from Las Vegas!

Guys from gaydar.nl

Pink sensation - a smaller family affair

Purple party on boat

Wow wow wow...as i was walking back to the train station....I have to get a photo of these guys!!!

So I did. :)

Indeed, an eventful experience with gays, today I had.

Next week I will be in Bonn!
