South Africa Part One

Hoohoo...from Cairo --> Nairobi --> Johannesburg!

Ok, too many photos....again....here are some photos from Kenya, Joburg and Pilanesburg! This trip I went to visit Kat and Dave, stayed over at their house and if have been reading my previous posts from South Africa, you probably know where I have been...hehe

Touchdown Nairobi! We had to walk on the tarmac from where the plane parked to the airport. Here you see the stairway up and into the arrival hall...Not much people at 4am...:)

I am in Kenya!

After stoning for 2hrs at Nairobi, I flew another 2hrs plus to Johannesburg! Here you see the view of the airport. Now, where is Kat?

Here is Kat! We are preparing Mee Goreng, Jalan Kayu style! Finally, some real samba chilli. Sweat again..

Hehe, me learning how to cook. On another occasion, I did an attempt at Satay Chicken

Kat and Dave. Super nice people, ...hmm, you should also spot Winnie and Lucy somewhere...

Joburg City on an express

Gold Reef City - theme park --> rollercoaster and hotdogs

Hehe...satay chicken in the making..

On this day, we drove 4hrs to Pilanesburg, on route to Sun City and the Pilanesburg Game Park (Safari). As you can see, as we drive into the suburbs, you can see the low cost housings

We reached the shacks. Here was where your gardeners and maids would stay.

The Barrens. Wonder where is Rakey?

Ohh, here is our safari tent! hehe, we stayed at this tent at the Pilanesburg Game Park. Super fun, we had a fire going, brought meat/drinks, bbq, small animals, stars from the African land....More photos in my next post during our safari game drive

Hehe...actually quite comfy

You guys must see these man. This is SUN CITY! One might recall a Miss Universe contest was once held here. The photos say it all....

Cairo Part Two

Just a short problog note:

I went to get a new library card today! Hehe, I am the 265th new member for this month at the Den Haag Bibliotheek! They even took a photo of me, holding this huge signboard with the number: 2 6 5 , on it! Said that they will put up all the photos of all the new members at the library...haha, thought that was interesting...

Anyway, more photos of Cairo. I think next post shall be photos from South Africa, then Switzerland!

View from my hotel room. We were staying at the Intercontinental Heliopolis Cairo! Nice little suite!

This was taken at the FIP Showcase area

YPG booth

Ok, the rest were taken at the Taiwanese Reception. Finally got a chance to speak chinese! haha...Jiang Hua Yu...:)

Cairo Part One

You cannot imagine the piles of files and stacks of documents on my desk now! Seriously...

But, there is always time for a good kabab and a good glass of wine! :)

As usual, I have too many photos! Here are some photos from my time in Cairo during the FIP Congress Gala Nite and our post-congress staff day trip. I think I have some more on the other memory card on my other laptop in office. Will upload those later this week.

This year's gala nite was really special as we had a HUGE outdoor tent, at the plateau near to the Giza pyramids! Really cool...

Me by the Congress Poster. The following photos are all me...haha....with the FIP staff! Really good friends and collegues! Good times...:)
