Hihi all,
Well, sunday is a lazy day for me today. Did some laundry, ....but today the dryer is spoilt...apparently..unless the landlord switches it off on sundays...funny..
Anyway, been a lazy day today, I decided to start to read my cookbook. It is a book on Favorite Low Fat Dishes. Sounds healthy huh? hehe
So, after being very humble to mself, I have chosen 4 dishes/salads that I want to try to make and keep for my lunches in the office. I thought it will be interesting to put their nice Suppose-To-Look-Like-These photos before I actually go buy the ingredients and cook them.
Which one do u guys think looks good and I should make? Vote NOW!
Dish One: Hot Potato & Ham Salad
Description: With potatos as a base, you can vary the other ingredients, using egg, pickled herring, or beets in place of the smoked ham.
Dish Two: Parsley, Chicken & Ham Pate
Description: Pate is easy to make at home, and this combination of lean chicken and ham mixed with herbs is especially straightforward.
Dish Three: Potato Salad
Description: You can use left-over cold potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces, for this salad, but tiny new potatoes are best for maximum flavour.
Dish Four: Pasta Nicoise Salad
Description: Based on the classic French salade nicoise, this recipe has a light olive oil dressing with the tang of capers and the fragrance of fresh basil.
Okay, so keep the votes coming in! :)

Haha...yes, I am going to be the lazy person who cooks for a week at one shot....I think..for now..hehe, till I get more ambitious and use my oven!
u should just try to make a HUGE pot of soup or something. then cook noodles or rice to go with it. saves u alot of trouble!
As for which dish i'll vote..... Dish Two: Parsley, Chicken & Ham Pate looks the yummiest n most filling... :o)
this may be too late, but i'd like to vote for...claypot chicken rice!!! woohoo!
